Whenever you deliver an order containing an age-restricted item you must ask to see a valid form of ID from the customer. The Rider app will prompt you when age-restricted items are in the order.
Do not give a customer who is underage any age-restricted items. Do not give a customer without ID any age-restricted items.
If there are non-restricted items in the order, you can hand these over to the customer.
If the app is not clear, please call live ecorider support through the app for advice on what to do with age-restricted items that are leftover.
We will be carrying out regular spot-checks to make sure ecoriders are delivering in line with their ecorider contract and our published requirements including checking ID and those who do not will no longer be able to work with ecoeats.
